Fíor were delighted to be appointed to assist on this boutique hotel scheme at the gateway to Manchester’s Northern Quarter with Bowmer & Kirkland. The scheme consisted of 187 bedrooms – 163 in the new rotunda building and 24 within the conservation led refurbished Grade II listed City Building.
The original brief given to Fíor was to assist in the procurement of elements of the internal fit-out to the brasserie style restaurant and communal bar and lounge areas. We worked with the Architect practice overcoming some of the obstacles of the re-design that these elements of projects naturally require and delivered the package elements required on budget and in time.
When Bowmer & Kirkland needed glass repairs undertaking to the Rotunda building and some final works to the furniture in the bedrooms we brought on one of our own key sub-contractors who we have worked with to ensure everything was to the desired standard of the hotel group.
